Niagara Falls WRAP flood assistance
The City’s Weeping Tile Removal Assistance Program (WRAP) supports eligible work that disconnects weeping tiles from the sanitary sewer and routes foundation drainage to a sump system.
PUBLISHED CAPS
Up to $4,000 and $1,200
- Up to $4,000 for eligible weeping-tile disconnection and sump work.
- Up to $1,200 for an eligible backwater valve.
- Funding is first-come and subject to available funds; the City reviews eligibility.
These are separate published caps. Do not treat them as an automatic combined payment.

Apply, confirm, then build
The City’s program page describes an application and eligibility review, a licensed plumber, permit requirements and inspection before reimbursement. Confirm the current steps with the City before hiring or starting.
The City says these measures reduce certain sewer-backup risks; they do not guarantee protection from future flooding.
